Vymerce Nexus respects the rights of EU/EEA residents under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains how we process personal data, the legal basis for doing so, and how you can exercise your rights.

Data Controller

Legal Basis for Processing

Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))

Processing your email and transaction data is necessary to deliver the service you purchased.

Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f))

Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.

Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))

Financial record-keeping as required by applicable law.

Data Transfers

Some of our SMS carrier partners operate outside the EU/EEA. Where international data transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. Only the minimum data necessary for number allocation (the phone number prefix/country code) is shared with carriers.

Your Rights Under GDPR

Right of Access (Art. 15)

You may request a complete copy of all personal data we hold about you, free of charge, within 30 days.

Right to Rectification (Art. 16)

You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data at any time.

Right to Erasure (Art. 17)

You may request deletion of your personal data. We will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20)

You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) for transfer to another service.

Right to Object (Art. 21)

You may object to processing of your data for certain purposes, including direct marketing (which we do not conduct).

Right to Restriction (Art. 18)

You may request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances, such as when you contest its accuracy.

How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of the rights above, email support@nexus.vymerce.com with the subject line "GDPR Request – [Right Type]". We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe we have not handled your data in accordance with GDPR.
